What began as a single internet comic, has grown into an expanding universe of original characters, animations, stories, digital collectibles, trading cards, merchandise, and real-world events.
Featured by some of the biggest names in digital culture, and displayed on the iconic screens of Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo, Trencher continues to grow through its global community, its characters, and the stories they inspire.

Grizzle is a multidisciplinary artist working across 2D illustration, 3D modeling, animation, and worldbuilding.
In April 2025, her artwork unexpectedly went viral after a stranger stole her work and turned it into a memecoin. Rather than fighting it, she chose to embrace it, using the visibility and momentum as a catalyst to build something bigger.
Over the following year, she created more than 1,000 original artworks, registered the Trencher universe as copyrighted intellectual property, launched an interactive character builder and digital collectible ecosystem, created a full length trading card game, and brought the brand to audiences around the world, including a feature on the iconic screens of Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo.
Today, she continues to build Trencher as an independent creator, expanding the universe through art, animation, collectibles, community, and storytelling.
We worked with Candylabs to create a fully interactive N64 style 3d character builder, complete with digital trading packs, a fusions lab, and a burn mechanism. Build your own Trencher!
How it works:
Collect a base avatar. This is the base you need to start designing your character.
Collect limited edition trading packs. New themed editions of trading packs are released every few months. You can keep your pack sealed and trade the pack or you can rip open the pack and reveal the clothing and accessories inside!
Collect traits. You can collect traits by opening packs, or by buying specific traits from other collectors on the secondary market.
Craft traits in the Fusions Lab. If you don’t like the traits you received in your pack, you can sell them on the secondary market, OR you can enter the Fusions Lab and burn 4 traits to craft one new rare trait!
Build your character! Once you’re satisfied with all of your traits, head over to the character builder and start designing your avatar! You can change the skin tone, hair style and color, eyes, mouth, shirt, accessories, and background
Flex your new digital persona! Change your PFP and tag me! Collectors are eligible for periodic rewards such as pack giveaways, merch giveaways, early access to new drops, and invites to IRL events.
