Artist @grizzle_art created the Trencher character as a hand drawn mascot for the memecoin “trenches.” The drawing went viral, catching the attention of the online community, as well as, Alon, the founder of  PumpFun. This inspired an unaffiliated token called $trencher. Instead of opposing the token, Grizzle embraced the community and continues creating art with the character.

She has since created over 300 pieces of art, continuously expanding the Trencher world and characters, even launching a collaborative animated series. Additionally, she announced an official partnership with the memecoin launchpad, PumpFun, where she creates art for them and the greater ecosystem.
